Saudi Cabinet: Crown Prince’s Visit to Washington Strengthens Strategic Partnership and Regional Stability

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, chaired the Cabinet session held today in Riyadh.

Crown Prince’s Visit to the United States

The Cabinet affirmed that the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister — may God protect him — to Washington comes within the framework of strengthening the strategic partnership between the two friendly countries, and supporting their shared vision for a more secure and stable Middle East.

International Communications

The Cabinet reviewed messages received by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince from:

The President of the Republic of Korea, Lee Jae-myung

The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian

The session also reviewed recent discussions between the Kingdom and several countries around the world.

Saudi Arabia’s International Participation

The Cabinet reiterated Saudi Arabia’s emphasis — during the 42nd GCC Interior Ministers Meeting — on the importance of integrated security cooperation to protect nations and societies and enhance development opportunities in the region.

It also highlighted the “Riyadh Declaration”, adopted during the 26th UN Tourism General Assembly, as a roadmap for a more inclusive and sustainable tourism future globally.

Artificial Intelligence – Digital Transformation – Tourism

The Cabinet praised the Crown Prince’s patronage of the Global AI Summit 2026, hosted by the Kingdom.

It commended the innovative AI-driven announcements at the Digital Government Forum.

It noted significant progress in digital transformation metrics and improvements in government digital content in 2025.

Defense Localization

The Cabinet applauded national efforts that raised military spending localization to 24.89% by the end of 2024, on track to surpass 50% by 2030.

Slovakia, Türkiye, Hong Kong, Kenya, Jordan, Oman, Russia, Singapore,

Approval of the Unified GCC Guidelines for Protection from Family Violence and Abuse.
