His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, attended on Wednesday the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) in Riyadh, where he participated in the session titled “New Horizons for Syria,” delivered by Syrian President Ahmed Al-Shar’a.

During the session, President Al-Shar’a praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s pivotal role in driving regional economic transformation, affirming that Saudi Arabia is heading toward an era of prosperity, stability, and comprehensive development.

President Al-Shar’a stated:

“I have been following Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s Vision 2030 for a long time. This vision does not stop at Saudi Arabia’s borders; it extends to encompass the entire region. We captured this message clearly — and when we arrived in Damascus, we were determined to come to Riyadh.”

He added that Saudi Arabia has become the destination for economists and one of the most attractive centers for regional and international investment.
He also revealed that Syria has attracted over $28 billion in investments during the past six months and is on track to become one of the world’s rising economic powers, supported by its diverse natural and human resources in sectors such as agriculture, tourism, and energy.

On the sidelines of the conference, the Crown Prince met with the Syrian President, and also held a trilateral meeting with the Syrian President and the President of the Republic of Kosovo — a scene that reflects Riyadh’s pivotal role in building bridges and reshaping the regional landscape through economic cooperation and dialogue.

Separately, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince received Mr. Han Zheng, Vice President of the People’s Republic of China, at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh, where they discussed bilateral relations and opportunities for enhanced cooperation, as well as regional and global developments.
