Saudi Agriculture Minister Opens “Saudi Agriculture Exhibition 2025” and Witnesses 28 Agreements Worth Over SAR 3.5 Billion

His Excellency Eng. Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadley, Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, inaugurated today in Riyadh the 42nd edition of the Saudi Agriculture Exhibition 2025, the region’s largest and oldest platform dedicated to agricultural and food technologies.
The exhibition, hosted at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, runs for four days and features 446 participants from 34 countries, including 11 official national pavilions, showcasing the latest innovations and solutions in plant, livestock, and aquaculture production.
The event reflects the significant transformation of the Saudi agricultural sector and its growing contribution to food security and sustainability, in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
His Highness Prince Saud bin Turki Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of Riyadh Exhibitions Company, noted that the exhibition serves as a vital global platform for exchanging expertise and ideas, highlighting sustainable solutions to address environmental and climate challenges. He emphasized that the broad international participation reaffirms Saudi Arabia’s leading position in driving the global shift toward sustainable and efficient food systems.
During the opening, Minister Al-Fadley witnessed the signing of 28 agreements and memoranda of understanding totaling over SAR 3.5 billion, between public, semi-governmental, and private sector entities, as well as international agricultural companies.
He also launched the Agricultural Innovation Center, aimed at promoting sustainable innovation, achieving self-sufficiency, and optimizing the use of natural resources.
The exhibition also hosts the International Future of Agriculture Summit, bringing together local and global experts to discuss food security and sustainability, alongside three parallel exhibitions focused on food processing and packaging, aquaculture, and food products & technologies.
