Saudi Global Achievement: “Chorus Theatre” Featured in NYU’s TDR Journal

A new documentary booklet, “Chorus Theatre: From a Local Experience to a Global Record,” has been released to chronicle a groundbreaking Saudi achievement: the inclusion of Chorus Theatre’s experience in The Drama Review (TDR), a leading journal published by New York University and ranked Q1 globally in theatre and performance studies.
With this milestone, Chorus Theatre has become the first Saudi theatre troupe to have its work documented in an international academic journal, while director Turki Baessa has become the first Saudi theatre director to have his artistic journey recognized at such a distinguished global level.
