Saudi Royal Message to Khamenei… Meetings in Tehran to Strengthen Relations

🔵 The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud — may God protect him — sent a written message to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Khamenei.
The message was delivered by His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Minister of Defense, during his meeting with Khamenei today in the Iranian capital, Tehran.
HRH conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister — may God protect them — and their best wishes for further progress and prosperity to the government and people of Iran.
In turn, the Supreme Leader conveyed his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and discussed issues of mutual interest.
🔵 In a related context, HRH Prince Khalid bin Salman also met with the President of Iran, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, at the presidential palace in Tehran.
During the meeting, HRH conveyed the greetings of the Saudi leadership, and discussions focused on enhancing bilateral relations, in addition to reviewing regional and international developments and efforts to promote stability.
🔵 As part of his official visit, the Saudi Minister of Defense also met with the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Mohammad Bagheri,
in a step aimed at supporting direct communication with Iran’s senior military leadership.
