The United States of America, Britain, France and Germany have stressed to ensure that the Iranian regime cannot access a nuclear weapon.

A joint statement issued after a hypothetical meeting of the foreign ministers of the three European countries and the United States of America stated that their common goal is for Iran to return to full compliance with its obligations under the JCPOA.

The statement called on the Iranian regime not to take any additional steps, especially with regard to suspending the additional "protocol" and any restrictions on the verification activities of the International Atomic Energy Agency in Iran.

The joint statement said: The group of three countries and the United States are united in stressing the serious nature of the decision to restrict access to the International Atomic Energy Agency, and urges the Iranian regime to consider the consequences of such a dangerous act, especially at this time when the diplomatic opportunity is renewed.

They reiterated their full support for the professional and impartial role of the International Atomic Energy Agency and its Director General, and their efforts to implement the necessary verification and monitoring processes for Iran's nuclear obligations under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.

In their joint statement, they expressed their common concerns about recent Iranian measures to produce uranium enriched up to 20%, noting that these activities have no reliable civil justification.

They also called on the Iranian regime to release those arbitrarily detained and reunite them with their families, expressing their deep concern about the continuing grave violations of human rights in Iran.

With regard to Iraq, the ministers renewed their condemnation of the missile attack on Erbil, expressing their condolences to the victims, their families and the Iraqi people, stressing that there will be no tolerance for attacks on personnel and facilities of the United States, the coalition and NATO.

The Ministers renewed the continuation of decisive efforts to target and eliminate the threat of ISIS in Iraq and Syria, including efforts made through the International Coalition to Defeat ISIS.
