The Crown Prince Receives Eid Al-Adha Well-Wishers in Mina

On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Supreme Commander of all military forces, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received Eid Al-Adha well-wishers at the Royal Court in Mina Palace.
The reception included Their Royal Highnesses the princes, the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, senior scholars and sheikhs, distinguished guests from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, ministers, commanders of the military sectors participating in this year’s Hajj, as well as leaders of the Saudi Scout Association participating in serving pilgrims.
The reception ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, after which the Crown Prince delivered a speech on the occasion, conveying the congratulations of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to citizens, residents, and the pilgrims of the Holy House of Allah on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, praying that it returns with goodness upon the Kingdom and the Islamic nation.
His Highness affirmed that the Kingdom continues fulfilling its historic mission in caring for the Two Holy Mosques and the holy sites and serving their visitors, praising the efforts of the military and security sectors, workers, and volunteers participating in serving pilgrims, and the work they perform to ensure the safety and security of the Guests of Allah.
The Crown Prince pointed out that these efforts represent an extension of the Kingdom’s broader efforts to protect its security and sovereignty, particularly amid the circumstances and challenges facing the region.
For his part, Director of Public Security and Chairman of the Hajj Security Committee Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Bassami stated in the speech of the military sectors that, since its establishment, the Kingdom has made serving the Two Holy Mosques the essence of its mission, the foundation of its identity, and a source of its pride.
He stressed that the success achieved so far in this year’s Hajj security and service plans reflects the effectiveness of preventive and proactive measures, as well as the high level of compliance with Hajj regulations and instructions.
Colonel Dr. Mishaal Al-Harthi also delivered a poem on the occasion, after which attendees had the honor of greeting the Crown Prince before joining him for dinner at the conclusion of the reception.
The ceremony was attended by a number of princes, senior officials, ministers, and commanders of the security and military sectors participating in the Hajj season.
