The Saudi Broadcasting Authority is accompanying the Hajj season of 1447 AH through an integrated media broadcasting system that delivers the rituals of Hajj and the human scenes from the holy sites to audiences around the world around the clock, through a wide network of television channels, radio stations, and digital platforms.

The Brief

The Authority launched a massive operational and media plan for the Hajj season that includes:
more than 700 hours of live broadcasting,
with the participation of 729 male and female employees specialized in:
broadcasting,
production,
and operations.

The system relies on an advanced technical and field infrastructure that includes:
120 cameras,
32 broadcast points,
25 editing units,
21 satellite vehicles,
10 transmission vehicles,
and 4 mobile studios,
to provide live coverage of the holy sites moment by moment.

The Authority also strengthened its readiness through:
two main control rooms,
including a newly established one in Mina,
in addition to an independent satellite platform to ensure uninterrupted and efficient broadcasting throughout the season.

On the content side,
the plan includes:
41 television and radio programs,
3 documentary films,
700 news materials,
more than 320 television and media reports,
in addition to hosting over 1,100 guests across various channels and radio stations.

Coverage also extends across the Authority’s various channels, including:
Saudi Channel,
Al Ekhbariya,
Quran Channel,
Sunnah Channel,
SBC,
Saudi Sports Channels,
Saudi Now,
alongside the diverse Saudi radio network.
