The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has activated multilingual interactive smart screens across the Two Holy Mosques, as part of the operational plan for Hajj 1447H, in a step that reflects the use of technology to enhance religious awareness and enrich the experience of visitors.

On Friday night, operations of these screens were intensified to broadcast verified religious content, in line with peak crowd density, helping deliver guidance and awareness messages through modern and accessible methods.

The screens enable visitors and pilgrims to quickly access fatwas and religious guidance in their native languages, through more than 70 on-site locations داخل the Grand Mosque, including the Mataf expansion, the Saudi Portico, King Fahd Expansion, and the Third Saudi Expansion. Content is delivered in over 42 languages, reflecting the inclusiveness of the service and its global reach.

In the same context, the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has enhanced services for the elderly and people with disabilities, by providing sign language interpreters, hearing-assist devices, and Qur’ans equipped with a reading pen, in addition to services for the visually impaired, including Braille Qur’ans and white canes for mobility.

Dedicated prayer areas have also been prepared in multiple locations داخل the Grand Mosque, ensuring ease of access and comfort in performing rituals for all groups.

These efforts come within an integrated digital and service منظومة aimed at elevating awareness services, leveraging modern technologies to disseminate authentic religious knowledge, and promoting the values of moderation, in alignment with the objectives of the Hajj 1447H operational plan.

What is happening is not merely a service upgrade…
but a shift in “how access is delivered.”

Information is no longer sought…
it is delivered in the moment… and in the user’s own language.

Here, the equation changes:
from a general service… to a personalized experience.

In the Two Holy Mosques,
technology is not used for display…
but to enable worship.
