Saudi Arabia: Guide Issued for Truck Freight Carriers
Riyadh | BETH – 24 Ramadan 1447 AH | March 13, 2026
The Saudi Transport General Authority has launched, through the “Logisti” platform, a directory of licensed truck freight carriers, aimed at enabling local and international companies to easily access licensed transporters and enhancing the efficiency of cargo transportation within the Kingdom and beyond.
The Authority explained that the directory allows beneficiaries to view a list of licensed carriers engaged in truck freight transportation, with the ability to identify the destinations they serve, whether for domestic transport or shipments to Gulf Cooperation Council countries and Arab states.
The directory also provides information on the types of trucks and trailers available with the carriers, helping cargo owners, agents, and the business sector choose services that suit their needs.
The Authority stated that launching this directory aims to facilitate access for cargo owners, agents, and businesses to licensed carriers and enable communication with them, contributing to raising the level of reliability and improving the efficiency of cargo transportation operations in accordance with approved regulatory frameworks.
The Authority affirmed that the “Logisti” platform contributes to supporting the smooth flow of freight movement and enhancing the efficiency of logistics services, in line with the objectives of developing the transport and logistics sector in the Kingdom.
