Prime Minister Sharif affirmed that Pakistan stands with the Kingdom with all its capabilities in support of its security and stability.
The Office of the Prime Minister of Pakistan also stated that Prime Minister Sharif reiterated full support for Saudi Arabia during his meeting with the Saudi Crown Prince.
A few days earlier, Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman discussed with Pakistan’s Army Chief Asim Munir the Iranian attacks on Saudi Arabia, within the framework of the Strategic Joint Defense Agreement between the two countries, as well as ways to halt these attacks that undermine the security and stability of the region.
It is worth noting that Saudi Arabia and Pakistan signed the Strategic Joint Defense Agreement on September 17, 2025, to strengthen military and security cooperation. Under the agreement, any attack on either country is considered an attack on the other. The agreement also aims to develop joint deterrence.
