Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz met in Riyadh with Field Marshal Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Commander of the Pakistan Armed Forces.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the Iranian attacks targeting the Kingdom within the framework of the Strategic Defense Cooperation Agreement between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, in addition to ways to halt these attacks that threaten the security and stability of the region.
Both sides emphasized the importance of prevailing wisdom and the voice of reason, while calling for avoiding miscalculations that could expand the scope of escalation.
The meeting was attended by Chief of the General Staff General Fayyadh bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, and Advisor to the Minister of Defense for Intelligence Affairs Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Saif.
From the Pakistani side, it was attended by Major General Mohammad Jawad Tariq, Secretary to the Chief of Army Staff.
