Saudi Arabia Hosts Gulf Citizens
Jeddah | BETH – 11 Ramadan 1447 AH | February 28, 2026
Based on the proposal submitted by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister — may God preserve him — the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud — may God preserve him — directed approval to host all stranded Gulf citizens from the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) at airports across the Kingdom.
The directive includes providing all necessary arrangements to receive and accommodate them, ensuring their comfort and hospitality among their families and brothers in their second home, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, until conditions allow for their safe return to their countries with dignity and care.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques also instructed all relevant authorities to immediately take the necessary measures to implement these directives.
May God protect the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Crown Prince, and may security and stability continue to prevail for all.
Following the Royal Directive… Care for Stranded Gulf Citizens
His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Region, are overseeing the work of the relevant committees at the Emirate of Riyadh Region to host stranded Gulf citizens from the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), while ensuring the provision of all means of comfort and care for them.
This comes in implementation of the directives of the wise leadership — may God preserve them — to host Gulf citizens stranded at the Kingdom’s airports, facilitate all necessary procedures to honor and accommodate them, and provide services that ensure their comfort among their families and brothers in their second home, until appropriate conditions are in place for their safe and dignified return to their countries.
