Preparation for the Fourth Conference of Speakers of Arab Councils and Parliaments - to be held next Saturday

The Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Adel bin Abdul Rahman Al-Asumi, stressed the importance of developing an Arab parliamentary vision to address the challenges facing the Arab nation, stressing the need to strengthen joint Arab action in the field of parliamentary diplomacy, coordination and cooperation between Arab parliaments to serve the hopes and aspirations of Arab peoples.
This came during Al Asoumi chairing today the work of the meeting of the Preparatory Committee for the Fourth Conference of Heads of Arab Councils and Parliaments, which will be held next Saturday, February 19, at the headquarters of the League of Arab States in Cairo.
The meeting discussed the draft document prepared by the Arab Parliament, which will be issued by the conference, in preparation for submitting it to the next Arab summit at the level of Arab leaders for adoption. Arab League, and the role that parliamentarians can play in this regard.
The preparatory meeting contributes to crystallizing an Arab parliamentary vision to address the challenges facing the Arab nation, by including the views of representatives of the heads of Arab parliaments in the draft document, so that it expresses the concerns and concerns of all Arab countries.
