Ihsan – Worshipping Allah as though you see Him
Iman (Faith) – A declaration, belief, and action that increases with obedience
Islam – The five pillars: Shahadah, Salah, Zakah, Sawm, and Hajj
The sermon emphasized noble ethics, fulfilling trusts, kindness to parents, and sincerity in worship.
A Message to Pilgrims: Follow the Prophetic Path
The sermon offered detailed guidance to the pilgrims, reminding them of the Prophetic method during Hajj, beginning with standing at Arafat until sunset, moving to Muzdalifah for collecting pebbles, and onward to Mina for stoning the Jamarat.
A Heartfelt Supplication
The sermon concluded with powerful prayers for the Muslim Ummah, including:
Support for the people of Palestine
Unity and peace for Muslims around the world
Guidance and blessings for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman
Arafat: The Heart of Hajj
Following the sermon, pilgrims performed Dhuhr and Asr prayers combined and shortened, in accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ.
In the Journey of Hajj:
Arafat is the second and central station — the greatest day of Hajj (Al-Hajj Al-Akbar).
After sunset on this day, pilgrims descend to Muzdalifah to collect pebbles for the stoning ritual.
They then proceed to Mina, where they stone the Jamarat at dawn — or after midnight for those who hasten.
From Mina, on Eid day (Friday), pilgrims head to the Grand Mosque (Al-Masjid Al-Haram) for Tawaf Al-Ifadah, then return to Mina to perform animal sacrifice.
Pilgrims remain in Mina during the three Days of Tashreeq to complete their Hajj rites.
