U.S. President Donald Trump has agreed to meet with Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharrah in Saudi Arabia tomorrow, following his Gulf tour, after deciding to lift sanctions on Syria at the request of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Shawabni described the decision as “a pivotal turning point” for the Syrian people, praising Saudi diplomacy as “the voice of reason and wisdom” and underlining its role in opening a new chapter of stability, self-sufficiency, and genuine reconstruction after years of devastating war.
