Saudi Sports Minister: Ready to Host 64 Teams in 2034

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Sports, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, confirmed that the Kingdom is ready to accommodate 64 teams for the 2034 FIFA World Cup, should FIFA approve the proposal to expand the number of participating teams.

Speaking on the sidelines of the Formula 1 race in Jeddah, Prince Abdulaziz stated that Saudi Arabia already possesses the infrastructure capable of handling the increased number of visitors and teams, emphasizing:

"We are ready, if FIFA makes this decision and believes it is the right choice for everyone."
