Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and President Trump Hold Bilateral Talks

A Saudi–U.S. summit took place today, Tuesday, in Riyadh’s Al-Yamamah Palace between His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and U.S. President Donald Trump, who described this trip as “historic.”
Prior to the summit, the Crown Prince received President Trump at Al-Yamamah Palace, where he also greeted the heads of major American companies. Among them was tech magnate and billionaire Elon Musk—CEO of Tesla and SpaceX and founder of the AI startup XAI—who is part of the U.S. delegation accompanying President Trump on his first official overseas tour of his second term.
Musk was seen shaking hands with the Crown Prince—standing alongside President Trump—as they welcomed the large U.S. delegation, which includes senior government ministers and officials alongside their Saudi counterparts. The three exchanged a brief conversation and shared smiles at its conclusion.
Elon Musk is expected to be one of the keynote participants at the Saudi–U.S. Investment Forum, which opened today in Riyadh on the sidelines of President Trump’s visit. Leaders from other major tech firms—including the CEOs of Meta, OpenAI, Amazon, and NVIDIA—are also slated to attend.
Artificial intelligence is set to be a central theme of the forum. Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih remarked at the forum’s opening that Vision 2030 has achieved significant progress across all sectors, with AI among its foremost success stories.
