Minister of Sports Crowns British Driver "Roland" as Winner of Round 4 of the Jeddah Formula E-Prix

His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports and President of the Saudi Arabian Olympic and Paralympic Committee, crowned British driver Oliver Rowland of the Nissan team as the winner of the fourth round of the Jeddah Formula E-Prix 2025. The event, hosted by the Kingdom for the seventh consecutive time, took place on the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, attracting fierce competition and a large audience. The race was organized by the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation under the supervision of the Ministry of Sports.

His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Sultan Al Abdullah Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation and Saudi Motorsport Company, awarded British driver Taylor Barnard of the NEOM McLaren team the second-place trophy, while British driver Jake Hughes of the Maserati MSG team secured third place. Meanwhile, the Nissan team claimed first place in the team category.
The Jeddah E-Prix 2025 witnessed an intense competition from the start. The free practice sessions began at 1:00 PM, followed by the qualifying rounds at 3:23 PM. The duel sessions commenced at 4:05 PM, leading up to the main race, which started at 8:05 PM. The event saw tremendous engagement from the audience throughout the race.
The championship will continue its rounds, moving next to Miami, USA, followed by Monaco, France, before proceeding to Tokyo, Japan, Shanghai, China, Jakarta, Indonesia, and Berlin, Germany. The final round of the season will take place in London, United Kingdom.
It is worth mentioning that the Jeddah Formula E-Prix is part of the FIA Formula E World Championship, the world’s leading electric car racing series. The championship aims to promote sustainability and deliver a cutting-edge motorsport experience, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030 in supporting motorsports.
