The ministers of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in the Islamic world expressed their condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist practices being perpetrated by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia against safe civilians and facilities in both countries.

The Council approved what was proposed by the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh regarding the selection of the conference’s title and date, and that the title should be “The Role of the Ministries of Islamic Affairs and Endowments in Promoting the Principles of Moderation and Consolidating the Values ​​of Moderation” and what he mentioned of people’s need for this subject in order to enhance awareness The moderation in Islamic societies and what the nation suffers from two groups: extremism and extremism, and dissolution and dissolution, and the importance it showed of holding it as soon as possible, to study the challenges and dangers surrounding the Islamic world. Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al-Sheikh for his kind invitation and hosting the Ninth General Conference in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and choosing the conference title “The Role of the Ministries of Islamic Affairs and Endowments in Promoting the Principles of Moderation and Consolidating the Values ​​of Moderation” as a title and slogan for the Ninth General Conference, while informing the member states of the Council of the date set for its holding In sufficient time.

The Council also reviewed the papers submitted by the Ministries of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the State of Kuwait, and their experiences in the field of architectural and technical specifications in building mosques, maintenance work, and the exchange of experiences and regulations in the field of appointing imams, preachers, muezzins and preachers, and a statement of the programs assigned to them. and the responsibilities entrusted to them, and after deliberating the opinion, the Council decided to approve the working papers submitted to be presented to the Ninth Conference for approval and circulation, by holding workshops on the sidelines of the conference, in which the specialized agents and departments concerned with projects and maintenance, appointing imams and preachers, and training them to exchange experiences and expertise in this regard, A circular for the benefit, while allowing the council member states to present what they have and send it to the council’s general secretariat.

The Council also approved the two papers submitted by the Ministry of Awqaf in the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Ministry of Endowments, Islamic Affairs and Holy Places in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, entitled “Fatwa-making and the danger of a fatwa without knowledge or specialization” to be presented to the Ninth General Conference for approval and circulation.

The Council also approved the working papers submitted by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which are “the importance of creating regulations and programs to immunize platforms from hate speech, extremism and terrorism, and the second topic: “Common human values, values ​​of coexistence and tolerance,” and the third topic “Modern means of communication and the role of ministries of affairs.” “Islamic Endowments and Endowments to Benefit from Them” to be presented to the Ninth General Conference for approval and circulation, with confirmation of what was put forward by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf in the State of Kuwait regarding the release of some terms in the paper and its return and arbitration before being presented to the Ninth General Conference.

The Council also approved the paper submitted by the Ministry of Awqaf in the Arab Republic of Egypt, entitled “Controls for Talking in Public Affairs” and presented it to the Ninth General Conference of Ministers of Endowments and Islamic Affairs for approval and circulation.

The Council approved the two papers submitted by the General Authority of Endowments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in the State of Kuwait entitled “The Role of Endowments in Increasing the Gross Domestic Product of Islamic Countries” and presented them to the Ninth General Conference of Ministers of Endowments and Islamic Affairs for approval and circulation.

The Council also approved the paper submitted by the General Authority of Endowments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on “The Kingdom’s Experience in Endowment Funds” and presented it to the Ninth General Conference of Ministers of Endowments and Islamic Affairs for approval and circulation, provided that it was presented within the workshops held on the sidelines of the conference.

The council also decided to approve the proposal of the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Awqaf in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Dr. Abdullah Suleiman Aqil Al-Daajah, regarding a paper for the development of programs to immunize the pulpits from hate speech, and what he mentioned about the importance of including the paper for psychological reasons and its impact on promoting hate speech, and purifying the discourse from extremism and extremism. The Ministry of Awqaf in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan will present a working paper on this subject and send it to the General Secretariat of the Council for consideration in the next session. The Council also listened to what was presented by Ambassador Ahmed Al-Tazi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Arab Republic of Egypt regarding the importance of highlighting the humanitarian aspect in the paper, and the Council decided to take into account To highlight this aspect in the papers submitted in the field of endowment, and the Council also listened to what was presented by the Federal Minister for Religious Affairs in Pakistan, Dr. Noor Al-Haq Qadri about the importance of highlighting the Prophet’s biography and the Rightly Guided Caliphs through short videos. The Council decided that the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Pakistan would send what It has visions and ideas for the General Secretariat to study in the next session.

The Council affirmed the rejection of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, and that the Council demonstrated Islam's position on exaggeration.
