Setting the launch date for the 15th International Olive Festival Al-Jouf
Sakaka - His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Jawf region, directed the launch of the 15th International Al-Jawf Olive Festival on Rajab 30th, corresponding to March 3, 2022 AD, for a period of ten days, at the Prince Abdul-Ilah Civilization Center in Sakaka.
The Mayor of Al-Jawf region, Eng. Atef bin Muhammad Al-Sharaan, explained that the directive of His Highness the Governor of the region comes because of the importance of the festival in expanding marketing opportunities for producers, and introducing the quality of olives produced in the region, as well as increasing investments in olive oil, pointing to the festival’s contribution to revitalizing the economic and commercial movement in the region. And increasing the contribution of the agricultural sector, within the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, pointing to the partnership of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in organizing the festival this year and the economic role in activating the role of businessmen and women.
Al-Sharaan commended the support of His Highness Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz to the producers and olive growers in the region, and His Highness’s constant guidance to overcome all obstacles to raise the quality of the product and increase the volume of production, in order to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and the aspirations of the wise leadership - may God protect her.
