Establishing a tourism project in Taif and developing Al-Nawras Island in Jeddah
The Saudi Tourism Development Fund announced today, Wednesday, the establishment of a tourism project in Taif and the development of Al-Nawras Island in Jeddah, the signing of two memoranda of understanding with the Fakih Group, including two tourism projects in the governorates of Taif and Jeddah.
The two memoranda were signed by the CEO of the Tourism Development Fund, Qusay Al-Fakhi, and Chairman of the Fakih Abdul Rahman Fakih Group, as the first memorandum includes the construction of a project that includes a five-star international resort and hotel, international restaurants, and entertainment areas, on a land of more than 165,000 square meters in Al-Hada area.
The other memorandum also included a project in Jeddah, which aims to develop Al-Nawras Island on the Corniche, as a tourist destination on the sea that includes recreational facilities, a public walkway for visitors, restaurants, art theaters, beaches, a yacht club and a marina.
The CEO of the Fund stated that Taif is one of the most important tourist destinations in the Kingdom, due to its location, nature and airspace.
