The "Digital Saudi Arabia" exhibition was launched today, to review the digital successes of the Kingdom at the global level, organized by the Digital Government Authority over three days, with the participation of 30 government agencies in the Kingdom, in conjunction with the LEAP Conference, the global technical event hosted by the capital, Riyadh.

His Excellency the Governor of the Digital Government Authority, Eng. Ahmed bin Muhammad Al-Suwayan, explained that the exhibition will witness the signing of strategic agreements and the launch of new digital products that will reach about 15 digital products, with the aim of accelerating digital transformation, maximizing the economic return and enhancing performance efficiency, noting that government participation includes reviewing the services of about 15 of them. Comprehensive government platforms and 10 products based on innovative models using emerging technologies, indicating that the exhibition will witness a remarkable international and regional participation represented by the Republic of Estonia and the Sultanate of Oman.

He said that the authority worked through the exhibition to highlight the achievements of digital excellence for all government agencies, in the field of developing digital government services for the beneficiaries, including visitors, investors, citizens and residents, in addition to introducing the success story of the digital transformation journey in the Kingdom and its importance at the regional and international levels, and reviewing the most prominent digital government services The goal is to raise the quality of life and enhance competitiveness, pointing out that the Kingdom’s progress in the digital government was reflected in its achievement of advanced positions in various international indicators, as the Kingdom ranked second among the G20 countries in the digital competitiveness report issued by the European Center for Digital Competitiveness for the year 2021 AD, and raising the attractiveness of Foreign investment in the Kingdom in digital and technical fields and projects.

Through the "Digital Saudi Arabia" conference, the Digital Government Authority aims to launch an interactive platform for beneficiaries to learn about all digital government services aimed at improving the quality of life and the sustainability of community resources, the economy and the environment, and to review the digital government's march in the Kingdom by showing its qualitative initiatives to promote government digital transformation.

The exhibition will witness the launch of a set of national programs and platforms, international agreements and a set of services of the Digital Government Authority and government agencies, in addition to the announcement of a set of digital initiatives and many other digital services.

The authority is the competent authority in everything related to the work of the digital government and its organization, and it seeks to achieve integration in the field of digital government among all government agencies, accelerate innovative business models in government digital transformation, embody the concept of integrated government and contribute to improving the investment environment in the field of digital technology, and investing assets.
