King Salman Energy City.. 70% of infrastructure works completed
King Salman Energy City, Spark, has completed more than 70% of the infrastructure works, and has licensed 41 companies to set up their facilities in the city, with a total investment of $3 billion, covering 90% of the lands of the first phase.
King Salman Energy City (SPARK) is an integrated industrial city. The project is located in a strategic location in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. It extends over an area of 50 km2, and the city was established according to an ambitious vision that aims to become a leading gateway in the regional energy sector, and provides an integrated spectrum of services that support business growth in the Kingdom, within the quest to achieve clean and sustainable energy and diversify revenues, according to what was stated in the Saudi Vision. 2030.
Spark is also the first and only industrial city in the world to receive a LEED Silver certification in the Energy and Environmental Design sector.
Spark provides world-class infrastructure to international investors in the oil and gas, refining and petrochemical industries, and the energy and water production and treatment industries.
It is planned to complete the construction of (Spark) in three phases on an area of 14 km2.
