The event of the Yemeni Scholars and Advocates Forum was launched in the Yemeni governorate of Ma’rib (Marib in the face of the Houthi aggression.. the legitimate position and the humanitarian duty), this morning, Sunday, January 30, 2022 AD, with the participation of a number of eminent scholars and preachers, and organized by the Communication Program with Yemeni Scholars and under the sponsorship and coordination of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs Call and Guidance in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Yemeni Ministry of Endowments and Guidance under the slogan (Freedom of Happy Yemen).
In the opening speech of the forum, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf and Guidance, Sheikh Hassan Al-Sheikh, thanked the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, represented by the Program for Communication with Yemeni Scholars, for its activities and programs aimed at gathering the word and contributing to confronting the Houthi project.
The Sheikh warned of the danger of imported Houthi ideas with which the Houthi militia is trying to corrupt the minds of youth and society, stressing the importance of the role of scholars and preachers in confronting these ideas and clarifying the reality of the Houthi project linked to the Iranian regime.
For his part, the First Undersecretary of Marib Governorate, Sheikh Ali Al-Fatimi, explained in his speech at the forum that the scholars and advocates of Yemen are meeting today in Marib for peace and steadfastness for the sake of Yemen, its people and its legitimacy.
Al-Fatimi added, "The Yemeni people have stood for seven years to defend their religion and homeland, and the coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia supported it," praising the heroism offered by the national army, popular resistance, tribes, civil forces, scholars, and all stances loyal to religion and the homeland.
The forum aims to highlight the position of Yemeni scholars and advocates and their role in the brutal Houthi aggression that the Ma’rib Governorate is being subjected to, and to clarify the legitimate duty and the official, popular, regional and international stance towards Houthi attacks. .
In its sessions, the forum reviews seven working papers that reveal an aspect of Marib’s steadfastness in the face of the Iranian Houthi aggression, and a statement of the legitimate position on the Houthi violations that the governorate is subjected to. Using ballistic missiles and drones against civilians in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, as well as clarifying aspects of the ideological deviations of the Houthis and proving their violation of the beliefs of Muslims, and what is the duty towards this gang of transgressors.
The forum comes within the framework of the efforts of the program of communication with Yemeni scholars to raise awareness of the dangers of the Houthis and their Iranian terrorist ideology, and to strengthen steadfastness and national alignment in order to restore all areas of Yemen from the Iranian-backed Houthi militia.
