The Arab Parliament warns of the seriousness of the Houthi threat to the Arab and international national security system

Beth: The Arab Parliament strongly condemned the terrorist Houthi militia’s launch of two ballistic missiles towards the United Arab Emirates this morning, which were successfully intercepted and destroyed by the UAE Ministry of Defense, as well as the brutal attack by the terrorist Houthi militia on the city of Jazan, Saudi Arabia, by launching a ballistic missile that fell in Industrial Area .

 The Arab Parliament warned against the dangerous escalation of the terrorist Houthi group against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, stressing that it does not only threaten the security and stability of the two countries, but rather it is a threat to the Arab national security system in general and the Gulf national security system in particular. It also constitutes a threat to regional peace and security, undermines Arab national security, and harms security and international peace.

The Arab Parliament affirmed its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UAE in the measures they take to preserve their security and the safety of their citizens and residents, and to stand with them as one against every threat to their security and stability.

The Arab Parliament considered that the actions and atrocities committed by the Houthi group targeting the stability of countries and their citizens constitute a blatant challenge to the international community, especially after the resolutions of the Security Council and the Council of the Arab League, and reiterated its request that the Houthi group should be included and classified as a terrorist organization.

He stressed that the terrorist attacks carried out by the Houthi militia reflect their terrorist nature and reveal their real goals in destabilizing the security and stability of the region and defying the rules of international law and international humanitarian law.
