Beth: His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, was briefed at the headquarters of the Eastern Province Secretariat today, on the plans and works of the Eastern Province Municipality in implementing the transformation strategy, "in the presence of His Excellency the Secretary of the Eastern Province, Engineer Fahd bin Muhammad Al-Jubeir, and His Excellency the Undersecretary for Licensing and Compliance and the General Supervisor of Supporting and empowering the secretariats, Eng. Abdullah bin Saeed, and a team from the ministry, agents, heads of municipalities, and a number of leaders of the secretariat, at the secretariat’s headquarters.

For his part, His Excellency the Mayor of the Eastern Region welcomed His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing and the accompanying delegation, stressing the importance of the Ministry’s support for all the Municipality’s projects and initiatives. municipality and achieve beneficiary satisfaction.

The meeting began with the Minister's review of the municipal sector strategy and its impact on infrastructure development. The meeting concluded with a reference to the communications center and the statistics of incoming, processed and closed communications, and the mechanism for linking them electronically, in addition to automating information and digital transformation, and noting the number of transactions that have been electronically transferred since the start of the electronic transaction system.

After that, His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing toured the development projects in the waterfronts in Dammam and Al-Khobar, and reviewed the investment projects put forward by the Municipality, as well as the development projects of road intersections implemented by the Municipality, in addition to the roundabouts implemented by the Municipality in partnership with the private sector.
