Deputy Defense Minister meets British Defense Minister

RIYADH - His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense, met in Riyadh with British Defense Minister Ben Wallace.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and joint cooperation in the military and defense field, in addition to discussing issues of common interest and reviewing the efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom to maintain regional and international security and stability.

On the Saudi side, the meeting was attended by Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant-General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Hussein Al-Bayari, Military Adviser to His Highness the Minister of Defense Major General Eng. Talal bin Abdullah Al-Otaibi, and Director General of the Office of His Highness Deputy Minister of Defense Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Saif, and the Saudi Military Attache to the United Kingdom, Brigadier General Pilot Staff Riyad bin Muhammad Abu Abbah.

The meeting was also attended from the British side by the British Ambassador to the Kingdom Neil Crompton, the British Senior Defense Adviser to the Middle East, Lieutenant-General Joey Martin Sami Sampson, the British Military and Defense Attaché Brigadier General Patrick O'Neill, and a number of officials.
