The Red Sea Company plants 2,000 Arabic frankincense trees

Tabuk - On the occasion of International Volunteer Day and in line with the objectives of the national campaign “Green Saudi Arabia”, the Red Sea Development Company organized today, in cooperation with the National Center for the Development of Vegetation Cover and Combating Desertification, the University of Tabuk and the Municipality of Umluj, a campaign to plant 2000 seedlings of Arabic frankincense, with the participation of 200 male and female volunteers from Tabouk university.

The Red Sea Development Company announced earlier its commitment to produce 25 million seedlings in its own agricultural nursery in the project headquarters, which extends over an area of ​​100 hectares, to provide the needs of the Red Sea destination and hopes of vegetation cover.

The CEO of the Red Sea Development Company, John Pagano, stressed the keenness of the Red Sea Development Company and all its projects to contribute to the promotion of environmental diversity, which includes the increase in the number of local plants in the area of ​​the two tourist destinations.
