The Eastern Municipality draws the green Saudi logo with 6200 trees

With clear and ambitious milestones, it contributes strongly to achieving global goals, as this national initiative aims to improve the quality of life by increasing reliance on clean energy and neutralizing the resulting effects to protect the environment, while the Municipality contributes to its efforts to achieve the goals from this standpoint to combat climate change.
Where the Municipality planted 6250 seedlings in a plot of land on an area of 6200 square meters in Al Shati neighborhood in Dammam Corniche, to form the Green Saudi logo, which will be coordinated to enter the Guinness Book of World Records, by drawing the largest logo for the Green Saudi Initiative, with the participation of 400 male and female volunteers. Achieving 2,100 volunteer hours, in order to recall this initiative launched by His Highness the Crown Prince, and to focus on developing the green economy, creating quality job opportunities, providing huge investment opportunities for the private sector, establishing green productive projects, investing in infrastructure and fueling biodiversity with the aim of preserving the climate, and supporting programs to confront The main challenges related to the environment.
Then His Excellency and the Undersecretary of the Ministry reviewed an oriental green cart and listened to a brief explanation of its objectives, which were launched with the aim of facilitating access to the regions and governorates of the Eastern Province and raising awareness of the importance of agriculture and preserving it. neighborhoods, as free of charge, as well as to spread a culture of awareness of the importance of afforestation and its preservation.
