Jeddah Corniche Circuit is preparing to host the Formula 1 STC Saudi Grand Prix, over three days from 3 to 5 December 2021.

Jeddah Corniche is the fastest-built circuit in the history of Formula 1 circuits, having been built in just eight months.

This circuit was built according to the highest standards of health and safety and the highest levels of quality, as it has many important advantages for drivers in order to start at the highest possible speeds and increase levels of excitement during the race.



The Jeddah Corniche Circuit includes 27 turns, 16 of which are left and 11 on the right, in addition to allocating 3 potential areas to activate the drag reduction system “DRE”. The length of one lap on the circuit is 6.175 km, making it the second longest. A circuit on the Formula 1 map after the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium.

Jeddah Corniche Circuit will be the fastest for this season, with an average speed of 252 kilometers per hour, while the top speed is 322 kilometers per hour until reaching the last corner, and it also contains 7 stands that have been built, giving fans a wonderful view of the race.

It is noteworthy that the number of companies participating in the construction of the Jeddah Corniche Circuit amounted to 50 companies, in addition to 3000 construction contractors, and more than 300 engineers in various disciplines, while the circuit consumed 37,000 tons of asphalt, 600,000 tons of cement, in addition to 30,000 cubic meters of cement. Building blocks, 1500 light bulbs, as well as planting more than 1900 trees.
