The International Football Association Board (FIFA) has announced the date of the draw for the global supplement, as part of the qualifiers for the Qatar World Cup 2022, which will be held in the Swiss city of Zurich.

This will be next Friday, November 26, coinciding with the date of the European play-off draw, where 12 teams will compete to determine 3 qualified teams for the World Cup, after 10 teams in the old continent were guaranteed the direct qualification.

The matches of the global supplement between representatives of the Asian federations, CONCACAF, CONMEBOL and Oceania will determine the identity of the holders of the last two tickets to cross into the World Cup.

These intercontinental qualifiers, which were initially scheduled to take place in March 2022, will play from one match on 13 and 14 June 2022.

Concacaf will participate in the international play-off, which is ranked fourth in the continental qualifiers, and from South America will compete with the fifth-placed player, as for the Asian Confederation, the winner of the match will be played by the third-placed team from each group, and from Oceania will compete with the winner in the qualifying stage.
