White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki announced that US President Joe Biden resumed his duties at 11:35 am (16:35 GMT) on Friday.
And a White House spokeswoman said in a post on “Twitter” that Biden was sedated for a colonoscopy.
She indicated that the US President temporarily transferred his powers to his Vice President, Kamala Harris, who assumed the duties of the President for nearly 3 hours.
Psaki confirmed in her blog that Biden “was in good spirits.”
