Beth : The Eastern Province Municipality announced the award of the investment project for the development of a cultural, entertainment and tourism center, by involving the private sector in the development of the region and the dissemination of services with an investment contract amounting to nearly 70 million riyals, which comes as an extension of its efforts and the initiatives of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing.

His Excellency the Mayor of the Eastern Region, Eng. Fahd bin Muhammad Al-Jubeir, explained that the investment project aims to enhance recreational and tourism activities and elements of quality of life in the Eastern Region, highlight the components of Dhahran on the tourism and entertainment map, accelerate the pace of development and achieve the concept of spending efficiency and financial sustainability.

He said that the project comes as an extension of the group of qualitative and distinctive investment projects that were launched in the Eastern Province in partnership with the Eastern Region Development Authority and the private sector, noting that the project includes the development of entertainment and tourism centers and a set of support services such as gyms, cafes, restaurants, public squares and open views of multiple uses. Walking paths and green spaces, which will have a positive impact on the quality of life for residents and visitors of the Eastern Province.

Fahad Al-Jubeir, that awarding this project comes to translate the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, with the continuous support of His Royal Highness Prince Ahmed bin Fahd bin Salman, and with the follow-up of His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, To accelerate the development of the region and raise the level of services provided and their spread in all cities and governorates of the eastern region.

He pointed out that the secretariat is working in cooperation with the ministry's teams and in partnership with the teams of other ministries, the Region Development Authority, the Quality of Life Program, the Sports Federation and the rest of the sectors to promote development in the region and financial sustainability, raise revenues, improve services provided to residents and visitors of the region, and achieve the concept of spending efficiency.

His Excellency the Mayor of the Eastern Region, Eng. Fahd bin Muhammad Al-Jubeir, called on all investors and entrepreneurs to participate in the investment industry, visit the municipal investment portal and the smart phone application (Foras), and communicate with the Investment Excellence Center in the Municipality to view investment opportunities with transparency and ease.
