Statement by the coalition leadership in Yemen on the repositioning of the joint forces
RIYADH - The official spokesman for the coalition forces "Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen," Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, stated that the redeployment of the military forces of the coalition and the Yemeni forces affiliated with the Yemeni government in the area of operations came within military plans of the Joint Forces Command of the coalition in line with the military strategy to support the Yemeni government In its national battle on all fronts.
Brigadier General Al-Maliki said: "The joint forces in the western coast carried out last Thursday the redeployment and repositioning of their military forces under the directives of the Joint Forces Command of the coalition, and the repositioning process was characterized by discipline and flexibility as planned and in line with the future plans of the coalition forces."
Brigadier Al-Maliki praised the discipline of all the military forces of the coalition countries and the Yemeni National Army, as well as the joint forces on the western coast during the process of their deployment and military repositioning, indicating that the joint forces on the western coast achieved victories that culminated in the Stockholm Agreement after the intransigence of the terrorist Houthi militia to sit at the negotiating table. Brigadier General Al-Maliki called on the United Nations and its mission in Hodeidah to play its role in implementing the Stockholm Agreement, as well as calling on the international community to pressure the terrorist Houthi militia to fully comply and implement the provisions of the agreement.
