The AFC delegation tours Riyadh and leaves for Dammam / video

The delegation of the Asian Football Confederation arrived today, Sunday, in Dammam, to complete its program to see the facilities of the “Saudi Arabia 2027” file, which is the candidate to host the Asian Cup finals.

The delegation, accompanied by the Executive Director of the “Saudi Arabia 2027” file, Ibrahim Al-Qasim, concluded today the program prepared for it in Riyadh. It opened its third day with a visit to Al-Nasr Club, where it was briefed on the facilities of the club’s stadium, which was chosen among the stadiums designated to host the teams’ training during the tournament.

“Qiddiya” came as a second destination for the delegation, which had the opportunity to listen to a detailed and integrated explanation of the largest sports, cultural and entertainment project in the region, through several facilities that will be built according to the highest specifications, foremost of which is the “Qiddiya Stadium”, which can accommodate 22,000 fans, who will have an exceptional experience on match day. During sports tournaments in general, and the Asian Cup in particular.

The delegation also visited the headquarters of the Saudi Football Association, and was received by the Vice President of the “Saudi File 2027” Yasser Al-Mishal, and they were briefed on the future plans and vision of the Federation, through the strategy of the Saudi Federation until 2034, which was revealed early last September.



The delegation moved to the Saudi Railway Station, and departed for Dammam by train, in an experiment with one of the transportation methods.
