"Gulf Shooting 2021" exercise kicks off in the State of Kuwait with the participation of the Royal Saudi Land Forces
The "Gulf Shooting 2021" exercise, in which the Royal Saudi Land Forces and the Kuwaiti Land Force are participating, were launched today, Sunday, at Al-Udaya'a Mayadin Complex, with the participation of the US Army's Spartan Force, and will continue until November 18.
The commander of the exercise, Colonel Nayef bin Al-Humaidi, explained that this exercise comes with the aim of strengthening military relations and joint defense cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries, and exchanging military experiences and knowledge, in order to highlight and unify the combat capability of the three countries, in addition to strengthening the bonds of defense military cooperation to achieve common interests. between the armed forces of the countries participating in the exercise, and the consolidation of the principles and foundations of coordination and joint action between them.
He stated that in this exercise, training is conducted in the field of planning and implementation of command and control procedures, and procedures for commanding forces, and achieving rapid response to emergency situations for joint ground operations, in addition to developing skills to implement tactical shooting for infantry and armored units in conjunction with close air support and administrative support operations.
