Riyadh - The National Labor Observatory revealed an increase in the Saudization rate in the private sector during the third quarter of this year (2021 AD) to 23.59%, an increase of 0.96% from the previous quarter, and the number of Saudi workers during the same period increased to about 60 thousand male and female employees. .

The observatory clarified that the number of Saudi subscribers in the private sector, according to the data of the General Organization for Social Insurance, amounted in the third quarter of this year to 1,826,875 out of the total subscribers, an increase of 3.41%, including 65.06% of males and 34.94% of females.

The increase in Emiratisation rates during the third quarter is a result of the efforts of the Human Resources Development Fund to develop and improve support and empowerment programs and initiatives directed at the national forces, as it contributed to supporting the employment of more than 200,000 young men and women to work in private sector facilities from the beginning of this year until the end of the quarter. the third.

The Fund’s work strategy also led to the development, coordination and strengthening of efforts with partners in private sector establishments to enable the sons and daughters of the country to obtain job opportunities in the labor market, in addition to the development of new and qualitative programs that cope with the needs and requirements of the labor market, in addition to the decisions of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in The field of settling several professions and economic activities in the labor market.
