A global summit for "artificial intelligence" organized by Saudi Arabia

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is organizing a global summit for industrial intelligence, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, from 21 to 22 October.

The President of the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence, Dr. Abdullah bin Sharaf Al-Ghamdi, announced that the summit will be an annual one through which the Kingdom will be presented as a leader of artificial intelligence and a center for shaping the future of artificial intelligence worldwide.

This came during a press conference held in Riyadh today with the participation of the Director of the National Information Center, Dr. Essam bin Abdullah Al-Waqit, and the Deputy Director of the National Information Center, Dr. Mashari Al-Mashari.

Al-Ghamdi explained that the slogan of the World Summit on Artificial Intelligence was chosen, entitled “Artificial Intelligence for the Good of All Mankind,” and that the summit will be attended by a gathering of decision-makers, technology leaders, researchers and innovators in the future of artificial intelligence, investors in economic applications of artificial intelligence, and heads of artificial intelligence companies.

They will speak within sessions on: defining the features of the new normal, artificial intelligence and leadership, artificial intelligence governance, and the future of artificial intelligence. They will also shed light on the role of the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence in the strategic leadership of the alternative economy in cooperation with many relevant parties to contribute to achieving the goals of the vision. 2030.
