He pointed out the importance of Old Jeddah, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, being the hub of the largest film festival in the region, which will put the Kingdom on the map of the world cinema.
The Red Sea International Film Festival was established to become an effective film festival on the international film scene, to be a leading film festival in the Arab world. The festival also supports the growth of the culture and capabilities of the local film community by developing local and Arab talents and enhancing knowledge of the film industry.
