Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University participates in the World Scout Camp

Riyadh - Princess Nourah Bint Abdul Rahman University participated today, for the first time, in the World Scout Camp on the Internet (JOTA-JOTI), which is a global Scout event organized by the World Organization of the Scout Movement, using modern communication technology such as wireless or the Internet.

And participated in the event (100) backpackers from Princess Nourah bint Abdul Rahman University, through the global website (Jota - JOTI), divided into (80) remotely and (20) metropolis who gather together and communicate globally with (172) countries around the world representing the Kingdom’s scouts Saudi Arabia and Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, as part of the scouting initiative supported by Alwaleed Humanitarian Foundation, in cooperation with the World Organization of the Scout Movement.



The Scout camp aims to provide a distinctive educational experience that enhances joint learning between scout associations, and works on exchanging experiences and achieving inspiration in the areas of community development, through a series of educational programs and meetings in cooperation with partners in the fields of education, in addition to supporting youth participation to achieve sustainable development goals. Network with Scouts from other countries and learn about different cultures.

The participation of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University comes in order to achieve the goals of sustainable development and the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, to promote volunteer work and convey the true and distinctive image of the young men and women of the Kingdom.

It is noteworthy that the camp is available to all scouts of all ages, as more than (2) million scouts participate annually, and is held simultaneously all over the world during the period from 15-17 October 2021.
