The head of the International Affairs Committee of the Russian State Duma, Leonid Slutsky, confirmed that Moscow condemns the (Houthis) attacks on Saudi Arabia and sees them as a threat to the stability of the region.

Today, Sunday, Slutsky said, in an interview with the Russian "TASS" news agency: "We strongly condemn the Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia, and these attacks represent a flagrant violation of international law and pose a threat not only to the security of the Kingdom, but to regional stability as a whole."

The Russian parliamentary official warned that the continuation of these attacks is not in the interest of implementing the peace settlement process in Yemen under the auspices of the United Nations, adding: "We support the efforts of the Arab coalition aimed at protecting civilians and civilian facilities from hostile attacks."
