Why mosquitoes are attracted to human blood

Variety, Oct 18.2020 at Macca 1:39

A team of scientists in the United States has discovered the reason why human blood attracts mosquitoes, paving the way for a drug that could end this problem.

The new study showed that human blood tastes somewhat like salted caramel for hungry mosquitoes.

The team claims that the new study could help develop oral drugs that could mask the flavor of our blood and prevent us from being bitten.
