5 protest gatherings in Tehran in conjunction with strikes in other cities .. despite Corona and repression
Beth: According to reports from inside Iran, protests and strikes by different segments of citizens, from workers to teachers, drivers and others, are spreading despite the widespread outbreak of Corona and the repression against the protesters.
At least 5 protest rallies were organized in Tehran on Wednesday, September 8, including teachers in front of the Mullahs' Shura Council for several consecutive days to protest their living conditions.
Meanwhile, oil and gas workers in Tehran protested against their living conditions, drivers gathered in front of the building of the Ministry of Industry, Minerals and Trade, and communications employees organized a protest gathering in front of the Executive Committee of Khomeini’s order in Tehran, on the other hand, workers of the Amediya municipality in southwestern Iran protested for the fifth day respectively, in protest against the non-payment of their overdue salaries.
In Mayandwab in northwestern Iran, municipal workers also organized a protest rally to protest the non-payment of their salaries overdue for several months, and in Marivan city in Kurdistan province, taxi drivers also rallied to protest their living situation.
