Jeddah Airport jumps 86 places and ranks 50th in the ranking of the best airports in the world

Beth: King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah jumped 86 places to enter with 3 other Saudi airports in the list of Skytrax 100 best airports in the world for 2021. Jeddah Airport was ranked 136th globally in 2020, but this year it entered the list of the top 100 airports around the world, Accompanied by King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Airport in Madinah and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, airports that were previously on the list during the past year.

The Kingdom's international airports continued for the second year in a row, despite the conditions of the Corona pandemic, to advance among the top 100 airports in the world. This came in the announcement of the results of the evaluation of the Skytrax international organization, which is concerned with evaluating airlines and airports, in which more than 500 airports around the world participated.

According to the results of the evaluation for this year 2021, King Abdulaziz International Airport came at the forefront of Saudi international airports in the 50th place globally, King Khalid International Airport advanced 36 ranks to become the 58th, and Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Airport to the 68th place, advancing 16 places, King Fahd International Airport also occupied the 87th place, after it was ranked 91st globally.

At the level of the Middle East region, King Abdulaziz International Airport ranked third, King Khalid International Airport ranked fifth, and King Fahd International Airport ranked ninth, while Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport - which is the first airport in the Kingdom that was privatized - for the second year. The first place award as the best regional airport and the sixth in the Middle East, respectively.
