Riyadh - Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God protect him - the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources is organizing the first session of the International Future Minerals Conference from January 11 to 13, 2022 AD in Riyadh.

The conference is set to bring together mining ministers, senior government officials, global investment leaders, financial sectors, resource companies and institutions, multilateral institutions, NGOs, and prominent suppliers of mining services and technology.

His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God protect him - for his generous sponsorship of this important global conference, stressing that this sponsorship represents a great addition to the conference, which comes as an extension of the directives and interest of the rational leadership. In the mining sector, and maximizing the added value from it, as it paid great and exceptional attention to the establishment of an executive program within the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, placing the mining sector among the priority sectors, in addition to industry, energy and logistics services.

He said, "The conference will be the first comprehensive platform of its kind, specialized in providing investors, mining companies, and those interested in the mining sector with everything related to the exploration, production and manufacturing capabilities of this sector in the promising regions of the Middle East, Central Asia, North and East Africa." 

 

He referred to the ambitious aspirations to benefit from the Kingdom's balance of mineral resources, which amount to about 1.3 trillion dollars through cooperation with investors and regional and international partners, which will contribute - God willing - to the implementation of the comprehensive strategic initiatives for mining and mining industries, and to complete the journey of advancing the mining sector on the Over the coming years, it will become, according to the vision's objectives, the third pillar of the national economy and industry.

His Excellency stressed that the International Future Metals Conference is distinguished from other international conferences in terms of the availability of mining opportunities in the regions of the Middle East, Central Asia, North and East Africa, which combine their efforts to make this conference a success and provide an international platform for meeting and discussing investment opportunities and strategic partnerships available with global investors.
