The Communications and Information Technology Commission, in cooperation with the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, is preparing to launch a number of regional technical initiatives this evening, Wednesday, in a ceremony that is the largest of its kind in the region, and in partnership with several local bodies from the government and private sectors and international companies.

The event aims to seize the opportunities of the digital economy and serve the technical communities in the Kingdom and the Middle East and North Africa region.

It is expected that many huge partnerships will be announced with global and pioneering bodies in the technology industry, and training and development institutions in various technical sectors around the world. In an effort to qualify human energies, support the digital business system, and empower a technical community.

These initiatives will contribute to strengthening the Kingdom’s role as a regional technology center that celebrates innovators, programmers and entrepreneurs, from various technical sectors.
