"Saudi Ceramic" intends to establish a new factory at a cost of 249 million riyals

The Saudi Ceramic Company said today, Thursday, that in order to implement the company's strategy and expansion plans, the company's board of directors approved by passing the establishment of a new factory for the production of porcelain tiles with the latest international technologies, with a production capacity of 8.25 million square meters annually.

Saudi Ceramics added, in a statement to "Saudi Tadawul", that the cost of the project is 249.3 million riyals, financed through borrowing and self-financing.

She explained that the construction of the project will start in the fourth quarter of 2021, and will end in the second quarter of 2023.

She expected the project to have a positive impact on the company's revenues, and the expected impact of the project on the company's results would begin after the start of commercial operation in the second quarter of 2023.

The company indicated that the expected date for the start of trial production for the project is the end of the first quarter of 2023, for a month before the start of commercial production.

She stated that the project is being implemented by a group of manufacturers and suppliers inside and outside the Kingdom.
