For the second year in a row, Saudi airports are among the top 100 in the world
The Kingdom's international airports continued for the second year in a row, despite the conditions of the Corona pandemic, to advance in the list of the top 100 airports in the world.
This came in the announcement of the results of the evaluation of the Skytrax International Organization, which is concerned with evaluating airlines and airports, in which more than 500 airports around the world participated.
According to the results of the evaluation for this year 2021, King Abdulaziz International Airport came at the forefront of Saudi international airports, ranked 50th globally, King Khalid International Airport advanced 36 ranks to become 58th, and Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Airport to 68th place, advancing 16 places. King Fahd International Airport ranked 87th after it was ranked 91st globally.
At the level of the Middle East region, King Abdulaziz International Airport ranked third, King Khalid International Airport ranked fifth, and King Fahd International Airport ranked ninth, while Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport - which is the first airport in the Kingdom that was privatized - for the second year. The first place award as the best regional airport and the sixth in the Middle East, respectively.
