The Egyptian Ministry of Housing announced the completion of all concrete works for the iconic tower, the tallest in Africa, in the Central Business District of the New Administrative Capital in Egypt.

The iconic 78-storey tower will be 378 meters high, with a building area of ​​268,000 square meters, with investments of $3 billion. Officials participated in the ceremony, pouring the last meter of concrete into the tower.

The Chinese General Architectural Company, which is responsible for building the tower, said that it has now started mechanical and electrical works and finishes, stressing that the tower is a testament to the strong and strategic relations between Egypt and China.

The director of the tower project, Ahmed Al-Banna, said that the project consumed more than 800 continuous work days without vacations or breaks to reach such an achievement, pointing out that the concrete works were carried out in four phases, and that the project consumed 75,000 cubic meters of concrete.
